Physical Strengths: 
High amounts of Stamina/Energy.
Able to move quickly and easily; agile.

Physical Weaknesses: 
Very weak bite; he can lightly nip, but little more than that. Also unable to strongly grip things in his mouth due to the hairline fracture in his lower jaw (this injury was obtained due to a mountain goat's grazing kick when he was younger).
Prone to passing out multiple times in a 24-hour period. This is a result of constant activity coupled with insomnia; Fritz's body gets the rest it needs to continue functioning this way. These periods usually last between a half hour to several hours, Fritz sleeping heavily during this time.
Thin boned and light framed; it's easy to break his bones and push him around.

Height/Weight: 19 inches, 25 pounds
Personality: Fritz is a practical kind of dog around strangers, crisply polite as long as the situation warrants it but uneasy around strangers who appear friendly for apparently 'no reason'. Attempts at unwanted physical contact may lead to Fritz freaking out and 'defending himself'. Fritz also suffers from a compulsive disorder: he is obsessive in chase. He will chase shadows when particularly stressed, losing focus with reality and sometimes staring blankly off into space after a shadow-chasing episode. May also say he's "not good enough" to do/be something or another from time to time; his own failure to be self-sufficient enough to remain in his birth pack really hit his self-esteem hard.

History: Fritz was born to a pack in one of the mountainous regions surrounding Athens. Life was as to be expected until he came to be one year of age, when he had to begin 'pulling his own weight'. The yearlings of the pack had to feed themselves for at least two seasons with no outside help; this trial was meant to see which of the young dogs deserved the right to stay in the pack with thier mother, father, and elder siblings. Fritz sustained a kick to the face that cracked his jaw early on during the trial, leaving him with no means to feed himself.
  It was only through secretly giving 'favors' to one of his older siblings that he survived, the older sibling sharing his leftover food with Fritz. Fritz was ultimately kicked out of his pack once it was revealed at the end of the trial period he hadn't been feeding himself, and therefore was 'dead weight' to the pack in the long run. Jaw at least healed enough for Fritz to travel at that point, the collie made his own way along until his wandering paws led him to Athens. Once there he had a bad encounter with the Circle pack due to his unintentional trespassing.
  Though as he's wandered Athens afterwards and met many other dogs who seem to want to offer him nothing but good will despite his uselessness, Fritz begins to ponder whether the things he supposes to be true and his place in life really are as he thinks them to be.

Other:
Insomniac. His high energy interferes with his ability to get a proper night's sleep, resulting in Fritz being active until he literally drops. This leads to him often looking and acting exhausted/jittery, despite his stamina.
Fritz will also chase just about any sort of prey, herding those that will run away from him until he grows exhausted.
Sometimes hallucinates or looses touch with reality completely due to his insomnia.
Due to his jaw problems, Fritz largely survives off of carrion and small prey that he can crush with his paws/body. This leaves him malnourished a majority of the time.
